The impact of Sino-US trade friction on China's
OnMay9,theUSgovernmentannouncedthatsinceMay10,2019.thetariffrateonthe200billionUSdollarlistedgoodsimportedfromChinahasbeenincreasedfrom10%to25%.resultinginfurtherescalationofSino-UStradefriction.OnMay13.Chinarespondedbyadding25%,20%,10%and5%tariffstotheUS$60billionofgoodsoriginatingintheUnitedStates,whichwillbeimplementedfromJune1.
On May 9, the US government announced that since May 10, 2019. the tariff rate on the 200 billion US dollar listed goods imported from China has been increased from 10% to 25%, resulting in further escalation of Sino-US trade friction. On May 13, China responded by adding 25%, 20%. 10% and 5% tariffs to the US$60 billion of goods originating in the United States, which will be implemented from June 1.
